A schoolgirl was stabbed to death on her way to school in Germany
A schoolgirl has been killed in a knife attack in Germany. The deceased schoolgirl was 14 years old. Besides, another 13-year-old schoolgirl was seriously injured in this incident. The victims were on their way to school in an area in southern Germany when a knife-wielding man attacked them.
According to reports, the suspect came out of a refugee shelter in the southern German village of Illerkirchberg on Monday morning and attacked the students, police said. The 14-year-old schoolgirl later died at the hospital.
German police arrested a 27-year-old man in this incident. The accused is an Eritrean national and an asylum seeker in Germany. After the knife attack, officers searched a building near the scene and detained the accused with a knife. The knife is suspected to have been used in the attack.
