A tourist died in Sajek
On the way back from Sajek, a tourist center of Rangamati's Baghaichhari upazila, a tourist lost control of his car and fell into a mountain ravine. The accident happened on Wednesday (October 19) morning in the House Para area of Sajek Union.
The name of the deceased tourist. Sagar Ahmad (32). At least 5 others were injured. All the tourists affected by the accident are said to have come from Dhaka.
According to local sources, the tourists were returning to Khagrachari this morning after visiting Sajek in a moon car. At that time, the car suddenly lost control and fell into the ravine. Meanwhile, the tourist who was on the roof of the car fell into the sea and died on the spot. It is also known that at least 5 other tourists were injured.
Confirming the truth of the incident, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Sajek Police Station Nurul Haque said that we have come to know that a tourist's car carrying tourists fell into a ditch on the way back to Khagrachari and a tourist was killed. All those affected by the accident were rescued and sent to Sadar Hospital in Khagrachari.
