The students in the human chain said, 'Yesterday evening, the police recovered his floating body from the Shitalakshya river. We are deeply saddened by this incident. We want the immediate arrest and exemplary punishment of the terrorists involved in this murder. I am seeking the cooperation of the university administration and the government in this regard.
After the funeral, Fardeen's father Kazi Nooruddin Rana said, 'Last Friday afternoon, Fardeen left home after eating and drinking. He said to his mother - there is an exam tomorrow, I will do group study today. I will not come home today. I will come home after the exam on Saturday afternoon and eat rice. His mother was looking through the window, my son goes, but the son did not come. I want everyone's prayers and justice for my son's murder. I want no other mother's chest to be empty.'
BUET student Fardin's father has asked the Prime Minister for the trial of his son's murder.
He said, 'My son used to do research, social work and debating along with studies. He was scheduled to represent Buet in a debating event in Madrid, Spain, in December. He has also prepared his passport to go there. But before that miscreants have sent my child to the other side. I know, I will not get the child back. But I want justice for this incident.'
Fardeen's father said, 'We cannot imagine who did this. I don't think I have any enemies. I have not harmed anyone. I have done journalism but never reported anything that could have hurt anyone. The country has become very digital. I want to see what digital has become. Tracking system should be developed. If you can do that, the details of who was communicating with him will come out. I don't want to point at anyone.'
Meanwhile, Jasad Chhatra League has demanded justice for Fardin's murder. Jasad Chhatra League President Gautam Chandra Sheel and General Secretary Md. Mahfuzur Rahman said in a statement that the recovery of the body of BUET student Fardin Noor Parsh after 2 days of disappearance is very shameful. We strongly condemn and protest this incident. We have come to know that Fardin is particularly known among his friends as a brilliant student, debater and player. I demand a fair investigation and trial of this incident using the maximum technology of the country. Besides, we demand speedy resolution of pending cases of kidnapping and murder of students.
