A college teacher named Biplab Hossain (35) was arrested along with a college student in Natore's Lalpur in an offensive condition by the locals. The girl's father tried to commit suicide by consuming poison on Monday (October 10) and is under treatment at Upazila Health Complex. The accused teacher Biplab Lalpur Degree College is a lecturer of Bengali department and son of Sahabaz Mandal of Ramakrishnapur village.
It is known that due to a long-term love relationship, on Sunday (October 9) morning in Malopara village of the upazila, the college student went to a house on her way home from a private school and arrested the teacher in an objectionable situation. After getting the news, the teacher's relatives rescued him. This teacher was also involved in the women's scandal before this. However, due to local influence, these incidents were not properly prosecuted, the source claimed.
Lalpur Upazila Chairman Isahak Ali mentioned these incidents of teacher scandal as sad and said, I heard that a teacher named Biplab of Lalpur Degree College was caught with one of his students in an offensive situation. Before that, the teacher was having an immoral relationship with the student. If this is true, it is a moral disaster for society. They will heal the society, but if the teachers do such an incident, where will this society go?
When asked about this from the principal of Lalpur Degree College, Abdul Majed, he avoided the matter. And the accused called the teacher several times but his phone was switched off.
Lalpur upazila executive officer Shamima Sultana said, I am not aware of the matter. Necessary action will be taken if the truth of the incident is found after investigation.
